$50 for a basic business plan
Seen on Craigslist.org:
Hi, I need a basic business plan written for a concept to be presented to a highly motivated investor who is already halfway sold on my concept.
$50 for a business plan. Really?
- Reality disconnect #1. A well-crafted b-plan is worth more than $50, both in terms of value and effort.
- Reality disconnect #2. if you can’t articulate your own business plan, you don’t know enough to run the business. And if you can articulate it, you can write it down yourself.
Note: being able to articulate your business plan (i.e., what you are going to do) is a necessary, but not sufficient condition for success.
